Windshield Frame 1974 Cj5

Im looking for the best maker of windshield frames, Crown, MD Juan, (Omix-Ada, if they are anything like most of their parts, no thanks), or is their another company that makes them? I’m looking for the level of quality in a classic industries panel, 16-18 gauge. Unfortunately they don’t make one.

You are out of luck offshor only look for a good factory one they do exist.

 

If you don't care about originality would a later CJ or Wrangler frame work?

I see the hinges are the same from '76 to '95. I don't know if the frame width is the same, or if something else would prevent it from working on an Intermediate.
I'll probably be looking for a frame for my '74 next year.

 

Later CJ or Wrangler changes the shape and tilt-back of the windshield. It can be done with some cutting and drilling but then your top won't fit.

Was just hoping there would have been some new mfg out there that I didn’t know existed.
