Which Master Cylinder Brands are better

Continuing the brake upgrade saga, I've done the research to determine which Master Cylinder would be usable when doing a frame mounted upgrade so now I'm wondering if any of the below listed brands P/N offer any advantage over the others. Also do any of them include extras like a bench bleeder or rubber boot etc. that the others don't (for a similar price of course) and lastly is one brand more prone to failure or returns due to faulty product (rebuilt units especially). The contenders are:

$45-Centric- 63010
$38-Bendix- 11373
$41-Dorman- 56193
$59-Wagner- 56193
$39-Cardone- 10.1292 (rebuilt) -(new unit is 13.1292)

Also does anyone know the Brand & P/N of a compatible unit with remote reservoirs for under $100 ??

Any other Master Cylinder selection and buying tips are welcome

I wish I could afford Wilwood stuff on everything I own.

 

Wagner and Bendix are name brands - but they are likely all imports today. Dorman Products is best known for selling widely-applicable hard parts, like lug nuts and wheel studs. The price spread does not make any sense - generally the reman cylinder will be half the cost of new. Maybe the availability of cheap import cylinders has changed that.

 

Not so sure I would list Cardone as a quality brand. I have not had good results with their reman stuff and now avoid it. I would be looking at Wagner.

 

It's been a few years but I got my master at NAPA. I'm not positive but I thought the brand was Lockheed. It was much more expensive than the samples you listed. I think it was exactly the same as the old stock unit. Very good quality.

 

I'm inclined to buy a new unit over a rebuilt one. With the same PN, could the Dorman be a re-branded Wagner ? there is a big spread on their price, maybe its a rebuild but I think its advertised as new. If I buy locally then it will be the one they happen to stock. If I go Inet, it can be the best reviewed here.

I don't think any of these come with the push rod (like the Centric 63008 for $125) and they also are not listed as dimple operation for use with a power brake booster unit, I think they all will work fine with manual drums or discs.

So the question is... will my stock push rod work with all of these units or will I probably have to modify it or find a longer push rod. What holds the push-rod in? the rubber boot?

Do they come with a bench bleeder or do I have to get one of those also?
I think the Wagner has a bolted on cap while the others are a wire bale - is there any advantage or issue with a bolt on cap? ie stays on better off-road vs harder to check fluid. Which would be better if I wanted to add a remote fill reservoir?
