I am replacing the inset tail lights the previous owner installed, with a set of Hall tail lights. I have already replaced the body panels and need to know where to drill the holes to install the Hall tail lights. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I just did the same thing. The original holes were filled with bondo. Tomorrow I will measure the distance from the bottom of the tub to the center of the holes. Tail lights are centered on the panel. If you send me your email I will send photos.

I measured up from the bottom of the tub to the center of the bolt holes, 3 inches.
Side to side. Mine is the same as the above photo. That is the outside of the large diameter of the tail light is even with the outside of the reinforcing angle around the tailgate opening. I took a picture I could send to your email.

Those sure are pretty! I love seeing the Hall and 701 logo visible.

It took me a minute but I realized that is a shadow and not a hole in the body. I kept staring because I was trying to figure out how it was mounted because I thought that was a hole. And yes it sure is purty. :)

Thanks! The right side one isn't as pretty, more pitted chrome, but still looks good for a driver, and the Stimsonite lenses are perfect.

When I took off the diamond plate corners, the factory holes for the Hall tail lights were right there. I was sure happy!
