T-14 Rear Bearing Adapter Removal

    Hey guys,

    I’m in the process of tearing apart my T-14. I bought a Novak rebuild kit and the instructions don’t give much detail about removing the rear bearing adapter. It doesn’t look like I can get a bearing puller on there either. What have y’all done to get the adapter out?

    IIRC t-case holds the retainer in place. Remove the gear and case the retainer should just slide out.

    Update - got the rear bearing adapter out this morning with a very thin long punch and light taps between the teeth of the gear that is up against it.
