Speedometer Cable Routing

    Searched my fsm and this site and have come up empty. Ideas? Thanks

    Mine ran through the firewall just to the passenger side of center.......clipped to firewall then along the passenger side frame rail to the TC

    If you have an original body, there's about a 1" hole on the firewall on the passenger side probably a foot from top of the floor riser the cable goes through

    Any idea if there was a cable clamp attached to the speedo cable that bolted to the firewall. I think mine had a floorboard bolt that was long enough to nut and bolt the clamp to. My original speedo cable was ruined, kinked badly by someone trying to take out a floorboard bolt with out removing the nut and clamp. I didn't get a pic of it's location on disasembly.

    didn't get out to look at jeep till today
