The ‘74 CJ6 I have had a T5 with Dana 300 put in it. The speedo cable that was on it is 60” (ish) long. Most of the ones i see on line are 69”. Can anyone tell me what cable to buy?

Its possible that the 60” cable was original to the 3 speed and the T5 transmission now being longer that I could use the 67-69” version.

Unlikely someone will tell you what you need, considering you have a 70s Jeep with an 80s transmission and transfer case.

The CJ-6 uses the same speedometer cable as the CJ-5, in the same years, when using the same transmission. Depending on transmission, it could be 60, 64 1/2 or 69 inches, or an oddball 2-piece for 1976. The part number changes in 1980 to 5751959 for all CJ applications. I have no listings after 1980; I suggest you look up the part for a Jeep with your transmission and transfer case and try that - should be 82-83ish?

There are parts books on the Tom Collins site that may cover this.
