Fireball and those dogs are welcome to deliver my packages anytime .
Hah, random chance of me wearing my olive shirt. I do computer support for a living. I think being a UPS driver would be a lot more fun but it doesn't pay as well.
My wife's turn. She drove the '71 for the first time last night and she chauffeured the family drive in the '69 tonight:
She likes the Jeeps a lot better than my old hot-rod Mustang.
Been trying to convince the wife to drive my 76.
I have tried many times to ride in one of mine listed below. She doesn't like "no doors" and thinks they don't ride very smooth.
That isn't why they are all sold, is it ?
Put 200 miles on the jeep today. Took my youngest up to pick berries and took the long way home.
with scenery like that, the long way home in a Jeep is the way to go.
I hear Ya.......DonnaBaby won't drive the '75 & it's an automatic ?
Made a run to the post office to ship some Jeep parts.
They haven't figured out how to drive yet, but they would if they could:
Man, that's the way to go. Some of my most memorable jeep trips were just simple wander about , stop and enjoy the view, pick and eat wild black berries, blue berries, and muscadines where we found them. There was always a fishing rod and frying pan on board so we would often catch a couple of trout and cook them for lunch. We could sometimes be caught taking an afternoon siesta along side some creek or waterfall. I often reflect on those days with my older brother, our friends and a hound dog named ''Loophole''. Ah, the good times, not a care in the world. Sometimes I wish we could relive those days but all things have a season. We live in the hope that the next one will be even better. Jim
glove box . the replacement deep one is
Bah, I meant to post the wiring update in my build thread.
Moved it there, but I completely agree. The bigger glove box is awesome. I have one in the '71 already.
Whoohoo! The fields are farmed and I can drive all over the property again.
Some side hill action while running the dogs:
Up on the hill checking one of the plum trees just off the farmed field:
Hmm, I think I post too many pictures of the same old Jeeps in this thread.
Took the '69 out for a Sunset drive tonight:
Thanks , Man...... Me Mum always called the first one ' Sky Blue Pink ' .
Does this mean there is another one in the works
