    Hey Nightstr,

it honestly depends on what you are looking for, also this is in the research section of the forum. Less responses, and the rear seats are going to be what is considered factory in this section. You would get more responses in the tech section of the forum.

    with that being said,
craigslist, and a wtb ad on here, if you are looking for factory seat. You could also potentially make a replica of an aftermarket company back in the day http://www.vernco.com/BackSeat/
This is also a good site if you are looking into what the factory rear seats looked like, so you know what to look for.

If not try some local/online off road shops (4 wheel parts comes to mind), picknpull salvage yard for a seat out of a newer cj5/7 even a YJ not sure about the TJ if that fits also.

IIRC the aftermarket seat for a Wrangler will fit. IIRC they fold and tumble, so you can use the storage when rear seating is not needed. The seat used in an intermediate is quite nice IMO - comfortable - but it does not fold.

Yep, post in the tech section for more responses. Also, search https://www.google.com/#q=site:earlycj5.net+which+rear+seat

I have a box that has a sloped lid that came with mine. It's about 7" on the front, 6" in the rear - not certain, but close. Full width of bed of the '69. Have the back rest which mounts similar to the vernco pictures with angle. The butt cushion attaches to the lid of the box. There were bolts thru the bottom of the box and thru the bed. PO hacked some speaker holes in the front edge, but it's about 16ga - heavy - ok, may be 18... so fixing and painting is possible. No belts included, or came with mine... It did come with a haunta virus nest with little dead critters, bleach and the power washer cleaned that out.
    Speakers removed (junk).
I will not be re installing it. I'd need to make better mounts and a few other things for use with the family... Trying to keep the rain and mice from it right now. Cushions in the shed and usable. PM me if you want it. free... Weighs a pile, so shipping likely gold plated and not possible.

At 7 cents a pound, I thought about using it as patch material for the floors... Just need a few more cut off wheels...

I used the seat from a cj7 (I think). It fits fine, but like others said it doesn't fold and tumble. Unless you want to keep it bone stock your options are pretty open.

I would keep an eye on CL. I have found two via that method.

A YJ seat works well. It is a fold and tumble. I also have a 70's CJ7 seat that is interchangeable with the YJ seat. Same width on the brackets. One seat I bought with brackets and the other without. The one with brackets had the "rests" or cradles that mount on the rear fender well.
This is a photo of a YJ seat where you can see the Jeep in the upholstery.

I also found one in the alley that had been set out for big trash day. It is the type that attaches to a box type mount like Danefraz above. It came from a 82 CJ5 (I think) and it is aftermarket. I have only the cushions. I didn't really need it but couldn't let it go out in the trash.

I have the rear seat you are looking for it's a Whitco with the stripes. Has the bracket's that match up to the one's you have on rear floor panel. designed to slip in and out with the pull or 2 spring loaded pins. Came out of a 1970 Jeep. Been in dry storage for years.
