I have been searching for how to install a Ramsey PTO in a Dana 18 transfer case. Is it just a bolt on or are there some mods that have to be done in the transfer case under the pto cover. Thanks!!

It's a bolt on- the tranny output gear behind the cover has some cogs on it that the PTO engages to work.

This picture just shows my test fit of the PTO. Got a new exhaust system and PTO just clears muffler.Need a gasket to do final install, waiting for parts. 101_1712.JPG

I guess I could if I had the right parts for a rear drive set up, maybe some day.

I realize you just got a new exhaust system, but you would have more clearance if you moved the mufflers around behind the rear axle.

    Mid year 70
But it's a VERY common modification to add a rear tank to an earlier CJ

Sadly, the 10 gallon mail Jeep rear tanks are obsolete now. DJ folks are having to fit in aftermarket CJ vendors or build their own.
