Moderator put this where you think it needs to be please. The weather is getting nicer again so I can work on jeep projects again. One of them is a viable power steering pump bracket for the ham can style GM pumps. I have one that a friend of Nick Miller's loaned me but it has the York compressor mount on top. This is not the easiest mount to make for a decent price for most user. I am going to try and make a mount that fits the ham can pump and fits nicely in the engine bay. The high mount is in the way, the low mount hangs to low and the mount I have fits nicely but is complicated to make. Its made for the late 70's early 80's Regals and such. I'm going to try a combination of them but I need some info. I really need the dimensions of these pumps from the machined face of the cylinder head they are attached to, to the centerline of the V belt pulley slot. This is to verify against the (2) I have, the one in my jeep and the one sent to me that is mounted to a spare cylinder head. A picture of how your pump sits on your engine in the vehicle would also help. Thanks!!
