Anyone out there powder coat your entire trailer. I got a deal on blasting and powder coating. I was only going to only do do the frame but thought why not the whole thing?

The one I saw powdercoated didn't hold up very well. Rust formed at the seams, edges, etc. and the coating in front easily chipped from road debris. The owner said he would use a different paint if he had to do it all over again.

If you found someone who can do it, and you got a deal that you can afford, then why not? I'm assuming you'll dismantle every part and piece of it, right? Don't leave any rusty surfaces bolted together for the sake of saving the time to take them apart.

I just had my Jeep frame blasted and powdercoated 60% gloss chassis black, and it's beautiful. Wife won't let me put it in the living room though, I think I could make a killer coffee table with it.
