Need Donor Vehicle Info/new Parts??

    OK, so I finally after 10 years of this axle sitting under my workbench managed to get the rear D44 under my 98 XJ. For some reason I had it in my head that the backing plates from the old D35 bolted up to the D44, wrong.. So I do have the old D44 backing plates but no hardware at all.. So either I need to find a good donor I can pirate from or a source to buy ALL the hardware. Any ideas on a kit so I don't have to research every part in there? Or what likely donors would be readily available in my boneyard? Did the ZJ have the D44 or the 35?

    Not sure. The jk's should have the 44. Service info shows them wih a 226 ring gear. Should be diameter.
    For a 2002 grand it shows a 198 and 226 ring gear rear axle. The 226 is the aluminum housing axle. Cast was the 198.
    Those are the only 2 chyrsler vehicles i know that might have the 44. All the trucks use the corporate axles.

    I wound up getting a majority of the parts from Oreilley's, so far so good but I am missing three parts that I am trying to source.. The little widgets between the wheel cylinder and the shoes "link" is the best term I have for it, the E brake bar that crosses between the shoes and the E brake levers.. I find them but making sure it's for the D44 in the XJ and not the 35 is the tough part.. The 44 was fairly rare and a lot of places have it confused..

    OK fellas, I am in desperate need of a few parts, the slave cylinder links, the parking brake "strut" and spring and the parking brake levers for 10 x 2/12" drums.. anybody gotz???
