metal or alum?

    I have a 75 cj5 should I use sheet metal or aluminum for body work?

    Steel. Won't aluminum on steel corrode due to electrolysis?

    I have access to .063 alum for cheap and didn't know if would work. The floor pan is rusted through on the drivers side. The previous owner had several layers of rotting carpet as a patch. Thanks for the tips. I'll move on with sheet metal. I will post some pictures eventually. thanks again.

    Not only that, but I would think the 2 would expand and contract at different rates. It would probably pull the joints apart eventually since I don't think you could get a good weld between the 2?
