Anyone have dimensions for the m416?
I am going to make my own offroad trailer, sicne i have enough metal now.
I know how I am going to make it but i want to work off what the standard sizes are for a military M416. I am looknig for

Frame width adn length for the tub to sit on.
Size tub tub, length, width and heigth.

Also can you purchase a new M416 axle?

    THanks for the help :)

I found some tub measurements, but does anyone know how wide and long the square portion of the frame is for the frame? Also what is the distance for the spring perches on the axle.

    Thanks

    Dan,

Check out mikes site. He's got good photos of the bottom of the M100. Fit's right to the bottom of the tube. I think the spring dimensions are the same as the rear on the CJ.

    Have you seen this?

I have a 416 sitting in my side yard.
If all else fails, I can clear out the black widows and take some pics/measurements for you.

Thanks Guys. I am doing good now. I got a gameplan for my trailer. I have the frame half welded up, just taking a break. Not like i am going to get it done today or anything. I am hopnig to get some springs this week then order some spindles to weld onto the tube i am using for an axle, then save up for wheel hubs and a lunette eye for the front. Slowly it will get together. Just trying to get motivated and get at leat the frame done. It is going to be 41 inches wide and 5 foot long.
