   Is it best to pull the cable from the housing at the speedo or the tranny? I need to clean and lubricate. Any other helpful hints? Thanks

   I would pull it at the speedo as the graphite might migrate better downhill. Just my $.02

   You have to pull it from the speedo end; it won't come out the other direction.....
