15X8 or 15X10... Lots of different opinions out there. Either one of these will work fine, IMO. I used to run 12.50's on my Blazers, and used both widths...

10" is the recommended width for 12.5 tires, assuming that what you're asking about is width?

I agree. 15x8 will give a little more rounded sidewall 15x10 will give a more strait sidewall.

The 8" will also protect the rim more, and the 10" will stick the tires out of the fenders more, as they both have about the same offset, in a "standard" offset application, which is usually *around* 3 3/4" or so..

8" will definitely work, usually tires have the recommended rim marked on them, and from what I've seen 10" is the recommended width. ;)

12.5 will stay on an 8" rim better when aired down , I think they look better too... not so balloon lookin'

That's what I meant by "many opinions" :D
I like the look on certain 10's better, but some 8's look really good.

All above good advice. One more thing I like to consider along the same lines as above. 8" or even 7" do indeed hold onto the rim better when aired down. I've run 12's on 8" as well as 7" for that reason. If I were to use this Jeep as a daily driver I'd consider the 10" also. I've found as many pluses as narrower rims offer as far as bead seating. I've also found them to have a distict disadvantage in the sidewall flex you get because of the more narrow rim. Really makes for an ill handling vehicle for daily use especially if it sees speeds over 40 or 45. YMMV;)
