Does anyone have the dimensions for these or a part number? I've looked around but didn't find anything. Thanks

Sorry, I guess I should have been more clear. Instead of using the 4 bolts to hold the kingpins in, I want to use studs. I've seen them used before, but I'm not sure if they're double ended or similar to the spindle studs that are pressed in from the back.

That's just it, I don't know. I'm pretty sure they're 5/16 - 24 where they thread into the knuckle. I don't know how deep the hole is though. If I use a double ended stud, I want something that will go all the way to the bottom of the threads to make it just that little bit stronger. I'm sure the bolts don't bottom, or stick all the way through into the inside of the knuckle. It's easy to figure out how long the other end of the stud needs to be. All I have to do is measure the thickness of the kingpin cap and add some for a lockwasher and nut.

Oh, and threads were the same on both ends. Don't know the length though.

Remember this, the rule for strength of threads 1 1/2 x the diameter of the threads is maximum strength , anything else is just more threads to strip out. So a 1/2" bolt has maximum strength with 3/4" of thread engagement!

just measure the length of the bolt, and add 1/4" to get your length of the stud.

I called Walck's this afternoon, he seemed to know what I was talking about and he had them in stock. Should be here in a couple days :)
