I saw an old link about putting a K&N filter on the air horn of a f134. The pics were not viewable and was wondering if someone had specifics?

    Thanks

Like this? This is actually a European spec with an offset flange. It was rolling around my van so I slipped an extra sleeve over the horn and it fit well. I'm sure there are better ones out there I can get the specs for you.

    Thanks

Any other ideas. That is basically what I was looking for. I have an F134 air horn. Anyone have any part numbers or specs to save the old measure and fit routine.

    Thanks

What is the outside diameter of the airhorn? My L134 is 2-1/16

If yours is the same, These might work nice with a 2-1/16 flange:

    RU-1070 3-1/2" round by 6" long, 10 degree angled 3/4" long flange
(RU-0520PK matching black filter wrap for better protection from mud)

    RU-1780 3-1/2" round by 5" long, 17 degree angled 2-1/2" long flange
(RU-0510PK matching black filter wrap for better protection from mud)

Best bet is to go to a local parts store and ask for the 2003 K&N catalog. This one still has the universal filter listings (2004 does not). You want page 196. You can get as creative as you want for shape but you will likely need an offset or angled flange for hood clearance.

I thought I just saw an ad somewhere (might have been eBay or willystech) where someone gutted the inside of an oil bath air cleaner and added an internal (to the oilbath air cleaner) K&N filter.

I thought about doing that years ago but never got around to it. Now that I have another, in a slightly different style I might again.
