Installing a Dauntless V-6 in a 1969 CJ5

Hi,

I wanted to know if anyone has installed an original V-6 in a CJ5 that could have been order with one. Mine now has the F-Head engine and I wanted to know what would be involved to install the Jeep V-6 engine.

I would think with the correct motor mounts, engine, transmission, drive shafts--it would be a bolt in replacement.

Welcome aboard. There are several of us (OK, lots) who have done this swap. the body style is not important really as the details are basically the same. Start with what Vanguard said, and then come back and ask specific questions, and do a search on this forum for swap info and that will help out also. good luck.
