Incandescent To LED Bulb In Spartan Turn Signal

    Has anyone changed the incandescent bulb (53) to a LED? If so what bulb did you use and did you have any fitment issues? It is tight in there.

    Be sure to get a low lumens output... LED's are bright!

    Thanks. They make direct replacements for the 53 lamp. But my concern is that they are too wide for the space. Just wondering if anyone had any recommendations.
    As an example the instrument cluster lights have the same base and will fit the socket. But the top of the housing won't close because the glass is too big.

    I see some measurements on the replacement LED advertisement. In a bit I'll measure the 53 lamp for comparison.

    I put a orange series 53 bulb in the hood ornament of my Pontiac and it is 6v. I bought it from superbrightleds.com
