Idiot Light Color Strips

    Restoring my 60 Speedo and the little idiot light color strips are toast. In the process of making new ones but where did they sit/attach (on the bulb)? Mine just fell out when I removed the face. All pics from other topics won’t show up

    They're glued to the back of the speedo face. If they're so dried out they're disintegrating photo supply places sell coloured plastic sheets.

    Ah gotcha makes sense now my wife has some vinyl in all different colors was thinking of sticking a small square on each one

    If you're using vinyl make sure first it won't get hot enough to shrivel.
