    Hi,

Can someone tell me if this is an overkill? I see 3 points attached to the crossmember. I have searched many posts about this but can not find if this is original for a 69 v6 with original trans and t case

    thanks

The boys 70 had all three we replaced all three. The v6 has enough torque to snap transmission mounts and cast iron cases while pulling wheelies.

That looks right. The V6 set-up is kind of different. The centerline of the motor/trans is offset 1" toward the driver side. In order to get everything lined up with the trans mount, cross member, etc. There is that adapter plate. Trans sits mostly on the rectangular mount, but the round mount is there like an outrigger to stabilize it.

I ended up using JK Rubicon shock mount rubber pieces that nested together for the round part. Worked perfectly.
