Greetings all. After bribing the site admin he allowed me to join and do more than read literally every thread in this section. Sadly the info I was looking for seemed pretty thin, and I'm hoping maybe somebody may know something.

I'm the new owner of a Converto 4x6 utility trailer. It was described to me in the sale ad as a knock off civilian bantam trailer. In the research I've done, the design looks very similar to atleast half a dozon other trailer makers of the era. It reminds me of the Ben Hur trailer I read about in a thread here or the Sears's trailers I read about in another thread.

Any chance anybody has any further information on the trailer? Plans are pretty tame, I'll probably wire brush it down & paint it. Swap the hubs from a GM bolt pattern to a Jeep pattern. Maybe add a chunk of square tubing under the back so I can attach a trailer hitch bike rack to it. And I really want to fab up some stakes with ribs for the pockets, so I can come up with a canvas cover.

Here are the only pics I have that the seller gave me. I'll have my own pics tomorrow.

I got the "original" rims for the trailer. Don't know anything about them beyond that they are a 16x6. No clue as to the bolt pattern.

Here's my whole gallery of pics of the trailer.
