I've never seen any before. As far as I know, nobody even makes replacement windshield hinges at all (at least anymore).

If your current hinges are in decent shape you could get them chromed at a plating shop......not sure the cost but you might call around.

Yep...found a link here just this week. George's Jeep Parts if I recall. They're not chrome and per the price tag, they should be made of gold.

If you can find a Tuxedo Park jeep that someone is parting out, those hinges were chrome.

Now, they are usually painted over, but they started out chrome.

and while you are at it, you might as well get the upper chromed as well.

Isn't the upper part concealed inside the w/s frame?

Most is covered, but not all. Mainly the "C" part of the hinge is what is showing. I got a upper from a Tux from someone on the board here (must be getting old, my memory is crashing) and it was chrome, but most was rusted off, and it had all the mounting bolts rust welded in. A Saturday afternoon, a can of PB Blaster, and some drill bits and easy outs later and it was ready for paint.
My old one was distorted from a w/s down and not secured going about 55 mph......do not try this at home.....I escaped with a cut on my hand where the w/s hit it, but the Jeep had a bent hinge, busted w/s, and dented driver side lower w/s mount area... all of which led to a complete body off, body repair, and paint job.

I have a set on eBay right now.

Sorry, they aren't chromed. In fact, they are UGLY!

Do a search for my EarlyCJ5 user name on eBay and check out my current auctions. (No link posted to keep this from becoming a "Look what I am auctioning!" thread...

You can get a set powdercoated pretty cheap. Thad (Old Bill) can do 'em for ya, but he may not be set up for awhile, since he's in the middle of moving and building a new shop.
