Was your engine originally emissions controlled or not ?
If "yes" have the emissions components been removed ?

    2G.

Juffer, this outfit can get you a carb, rebuild kit, or whatever else you need. You'll have to discuss shipping with them.

An alternative may be to buy a good used one and rebuild it yourself.

Yes. I've not had issues with inclines or angles. Elevation is hardly an issue when you're only 315 meters above sea level. :D

No-mine ran great most of the time, but at extreme elevations & angles it would flood out & kill the engine. I switched to a Holley TA470which solved that problem and gave me more power, but it has some other driveability issues that I haven't completely sorted out yet.

I had some problems with the Rochester 2G on my 225 71 CJ6. float bowl flooded regularly when traveling through the rocks especially on an incline. altitude did not help this function either..12,000 ft. the engine has a Davis Unified Ignition. I put a Weber DGES synchronous 38 carb on about a year ago and am very pleased with the performance. used the adaption stuff for a Weber 32/36 Redline for a 258 and put it on the original two hole manifold. same footprint for both engine manifolds. cfm on the Weber matches the 2G.
