One of the original rims/tires I had pulled off the CJ, I went to use it as a temporary today on the wagon and noticed where a couple of the lug holes were pretty messed up. If I were to guess, it was from years of being a lefty and people not knowing. That was one of my fears so I did change the studs out when I did the brakes on the CJ. So the question is before I send these off for coating, can they be fixed or just fine another rim. It's only on 1 rim and I do have the spare but I'd rather get it all 5 right to start.

I think a photo would help. I have seen some repaired. It just depends on how bad the hole is wallered out. The other thing to consider is how hard it will be used.

find a wheel and rim refinisher. they fix aluminum rims that have been broken, straighten steel wheels and fix bad lug holes.

Anything can be fixed, it is purely a matter of money. That said, how expensive is a wheel in good condition? I would think any decent machine shop could fill in the damaged part and re-machine, how much will that cost compared to a replacement wheel? I would think a replacement wheel would be cheaper, unless you know someone with the capability to do it as a favor. Good luck!
