On my '72 I replaced the old master cylinder with one off of a Cherokee and added a brake booster. The old master cylinder had a sensor in the bottom of it. Where do I wire it now that the new master cylinder doesn't have a place for it so I have brake lights?

There's a couple of ways to go. In 73 they went to a Ford style switch that mounts at the pedal/pushrod pivot---

Another way is to whip up a quick bracket to mount to the steering column and use a GM style switch---

Or put a "T" in the brake line and insert a pressure switch.

Nothing wrong with the pressure switch T'd in but they were never the greatest setup on a Jeepster anyway, which is why they went with the Ford style.

Huh? Not sure how I missed the part that mentioned in 1973 Ford went with. I should probably read a little more careful next time.

Pretty much any random Ford/Mercury model up to late 80's would be good.
