    OK,

I have been debating on whether or not to paint on or decal my graphic for the hood. I spoke to a friend with a cutter and his idea was to mask it and paint it, next was how to repro the lettering. I searched and found a font real close, then I got a shareware prog so I could change the font a little. the result looks extremely close to the "Renegade" on the hood of the 72-75 Renegades.

I can post a link if anyone has interest.

Why not just buy a Renegade decal set. I've seen them several places.

    Posimoto,

I only found the right one once and it was $250, compared to me getting this and taking it to a local detail shop and they pop out a mask for like $30, and I paint the rest on, I dont have to deal with a decal cracking or peeling down the road sometime, besides when I scratch it up, I can just touch up if I want, a torn $250 decal I wouldnt want to get scratched.

    K Mudwieserjeep,

    Linky linky http://home.comcast.net/~hot-wheel-nut/renegade.zip

Now I only worked on the letters for "Renegade" logo and I did it with a side by side compare of my original hood before I stripped it. hope you like.

Thanks for the link. I don't have a renegede but I like the paint scheme. I am thinking of the paint scheme but instead of saying "Renegade" I will have "Mudweiser" in the stripe. Just kicking it around.

I tell ya what, unless you already have, before you install that font, let me tweak the M, the s and the r. otherwise Mudweiser looks pretty cool, I just have to offset the r and the M and extend the pretail of the s to make it all connect. Ill let ya know

Those are very cool tube bumpers. Did you make them? Or if purchased, from where? If you made, would you mind sharing some specs?

    Thanks!
