Another round of "What is/was this?" - unidentifiable parts on my '58 CJ-5

Hi guys,

During my recon mission to investigate fill and drain plugs and a general orientation of what's what underneath this thing I found these two things.
Can you help me identify what these do/did?

Item one, left side underbelly, near clutch cable, looks like a fork of some sort with something still mounted to it. I forgot to chase it forward before I came in:




Item two, mounted to left side frame rail along side exhaust system, thought it might be an exhaust hanger of sorts but what left of the bushing is pointed towards the front of the vehicle, not the side...apologies that I am not quite pointing to it in this pic...



Can anyone enlighten me?

 

Engine stay cable and aftermarket universal exhaust hanger, slightly bent.
