Alot depends on what you want. BDS is still stiff compared to Skyjacker
Softride. The Skyjacker is VERY flexy... but has been known to sag (usually from the Jeep weighing more than stock) and Skyjacker isn't too quick to honor warranty claims.
All in all, I like my Skyjacker, but would likely buy BDS if I was buying today, especially since the rear of my Jeep is now alot heavier than stock with the heavy bumper/swingout/33" spare...

And Bob Supplee is THE MAN :)

thats what i was thinking (the weight thing) i have a full size spare, jerry cans, and a highlift mounted on the back, plus winch, and all the spare parts i usually have in the back on trail rides. the ride canot be anystiffer than i have right now. its just awful. as long as the bds isnt to high in price that's the way im going

Rough Country sells direct to the public.
I've run one for years and have been happy with them. www.roughcountry.com
    They show a 2.5" (closer to 3") for $379.00

Eric: Bob is a great guy. He will get them out to you ASAP, if not sooner. Always try him first for a price. He'll tell you if he can't beat it. Cheapest for Headman headers too. And remember, all of Bob's prices INCLUDE shipping.

Nickmil, and Eric too, I've got the Pro Comp 2.5" lift. It came with the shocks and everything. It rode like a buckboard for the first 100 miles, but then loosened up nicely. Also I got some "Poly Lube" and lubed my shackel fittings. Boy, what a difference. As I was forceing in the lube, you could actually hear the bushings "relax". Is all this "special" lube is, is silicone grease--doesn't attack the urethane.

Of course, I expect the Jeep to ride like a JEEP! R) When Hippo was here I ask him what he thought of the ride. He said it seemed fine and not stiff at all.
