Posting a question to the TJ fans. I have only been around the 4.0 AMC Tj's, so I know little about the 4 hole types. 1) would the auto trans hold up to a AMC V8 2) Bolt pattern on the auto the same as the AMC I6/V8 3) Comp, Will it confuse the rest of the jeep if swapped with a old TBI? (trans comp controlled?) 4) I know it would be easier to find a "good" 4 hole to replace the dead one, but if you could would you go to a amc I6/V8?
