When you get it would you show pict if wires showing colors please.

 

Chevy coil on top with red/yellow wires, Buick coil on bottom with red/white wires. I seem to have a more stable tach signal with the Buick coil.

 

I would suspect you would. I believe the buick coil is wound opposite direction from chev. I know the wires come out like the chev but underneath the epoxy coating I think they cross each other so it would be relative to the cap pin location. The ground wires need to be cleaned very good as well as the metal coil frame where they bolt to. The paint on the frame is pretty thick. Be sure the pickup coil has the black connector for the module.
