Hello all! 1967 CJ5 V6 with stock steering setup.

I need to rebuild/replace my steering bellcrank shaft. It measures 7/8". Here's my dilemma. I have found kits that don't specify engine size or type but I have also found kits that specify 4 cyl only (7/8). Can anyone give me some clarification? Can I just go by the size of the shaft or is there something else to these things?

    Thanks in advance!

All that I've seen either specify a 7/8" shaft or a 1-1/8" shaft.

I had to check mine to be sure and I have a 1-1/8" shaft. I don't know if it's specific to a year model or not but mine's a '69.

I'd go by shaft size, then compare parts when you get them.
