I started tearing down my 225 today and it appears to all be stock as far as piston and bearing size. It seems to be in good shape too but I will know more once I finish up and measure everything to see the specs. Anyways is the Autozone rebuild kit the best deal out there of decent quality or does anyone else offer a good kit? I will probably call them tomorrow to see what is included in the kit but does anyone have a rundown for me, anything else extra that is needed? I plan on doing the water pump, fuel pump, timing set and oil pump while I am in there as well as a new cam and lifters although I would think only the cam kit and oil pump are in the rebuild kit, right?

Thanks for the links, already searched and read those and many others, everything I have read on here seems to be about the Autozone kits though and I wanted to see if there were any other options out there. The problem is the Autozone by me is staffed by idiots so I would have to order over the phone to make sure I am getting the right parts and who knows the quality of help I would get then. I just wouldnt expect them to be able to answer any tech questions about their parts and if there were any optional cams available, etc... but who knows, maybe they are better then I think.

come here for the tech info/part numbers/what cams are best, etc. Go there for payment and pickup. I never walk into any FLAPS and ask them to look up a part for my JEEP. I've had too many problems that way. I go in with part numbers. They will still ask year/make/model, but I hassle them to confirm whatever they come up with matches what I went in with.
I do a lot of my own cross-referencing by using NAPA, Oreilly, Autozone, etc online databases.

Thanks for that link, I missed it and I had completely forgotten about Kanter and after seeing their prices I know why ;) Some good info in that thread on valve seats though  I guess I'll be stopping by or calling up Autozone tomorrow, seems they really are the best way to go for the 225s, I have been searching online too and was surprised that none of the "major" engine performance parts retailers carry 225 stuff. (PAW, Northern Auto Parts, etc...)

LOL, me too, its funny I have actually taken to ordering from NAPA, Autozone, Parts America, etc.. online if I don't need the parts right away just to avoid dealing with the counter person who cant get me a part even when I give them the specific part number in their computer. I have had to pretend I am buying parts for 4 or 5 different cars just to get parts for one Jeep, gets confusing.
