1971 Master Cylinder

    trying to install a master cylinder in a 71' cj5. What keeps the push rod from the pedal from backing out of the master cylinder.

    The Master cylinder has a cone shaped washer with tabs on it. That is held in be a washer and a snap ring. The push rod has a rounded end that goes into the master cylinder and has flat ridge that is the same circumference as the washer.
