I am looking for information on converting the clutch/brake pedals to something simular to a chevy S10, has anyone done this? What parts would I need to complete the conversion. I have a Willys CJ3B with a Chevy V6, NV4500, Dana 300. Now need the pedal arrangment. I have the complete setup from a 1991 Chevy 1500 but the whole thing seems to big, I was wondering if there was another vehicle that I could take the setup from that would almost bolt in? I do not mind some fabrication if it is pretty straight forward.

generally the pedals from a 72-75 CJ5 would be used, but that is with an early CJ5, not sure about a 3B. but that should be a good start. you could always take the chevy pedals and shorten them.

On my previous Jeep I used the setup from an 80' era CJ7. The hanger/bracket was close to a bolt-in, the pedals had to be shortened and reconfigured. Actually I only used the brake pedal., the clutch remained through the floor. I might re-think that for reinstallation into my CJ6.

Flatfenders have less firewall to work with because of the body shape. It'll take more creativity than with a CJ5.

Thanks for the input, I have noticed that there is very little room at the firewall.

I think that I can use the chevy full size pedal setup and cut it down. Another question though, Has anyone done the hydro assist in place of the normal vacume assist for the brakes? I was wondering how close I can install the clutch and brake pedals and still leave room for the hydro assist and clutch master cylinder.
