I just picked this one up, actually it has not arrived yet, but this is a very nice 1966 CJ-6 from Utah. It literally is a time capsule, and I can't wait to get going on it. It's a Dauntless with stock drivetrain. The top looks to be in great condition and the floors and sheet metal are flawless. Hat channels and body mounts are all intact. Some of you might know that I have a THING for the CJ-6. I'm leaving this one as stock as it comes. I may end up do a frame off on it, but for now I'm just doing mechanical. Yes it has both side steps complete with support brackets. Looks like the 68 CJ-6 I just finished up will be going up on the block soon. I'd love to keep them all, but there just isn't the room. This one is one I've been looking for, for a long time.

Nice. I love the look of the Myer top an a 6.

I like those wheels too. Anybody know what they are off the top of their head? I don't expect anyone to, but I figure I'd ask before heading to Summit Racing.

Just old school chrome reverse steel wheels, very common back in the day.

Was that from some USAF base out there? I remember it from Craigslist or marketplace.

To tell you the truth, I'm not sure. I'll ask the PO. He did not mention that.
