So what are the D slots worth? These seem to be the rare '71 only. I just bought a flatty and trailer that came with 7 of them.
D slots with valve stem in one of them, 7" wide 3-3/4" (table) BS 3.5" (true) BS shank style lug holes.
"American Racing Equiptment" and "KA 71" on the back with the spoked look to the casting. Extra lip out where the wheel weights mount and no extra lip just outside outside the lug circle.
Mine do not say "made in England" anywhere that I can find. I have not cleaned them up so maybe it's there somewhere.

IMG_3958 small.JPG I got my wheels cleaned up and confirmed there is no "made in England" on any of mine but all the other details are exactly the same as the confirmed Ren II wheels on here. Can Mike Stack, NCRenll and joe-n-jeeps please confirm that all of their known RII wheels say "made in England" or not please?

I have these mounted on a flatty I have for sale but would rather sell them to a serious Renegade II owner for restore. Reach out if you need them. Nor Cal

im late to the party but I was always told the "factory" wheels had the lug nuts "centered" in the slot. After reading this, who the hell knows LOL

I believe your statement about "lugs centered in the slots" is correct for the AMC/intermediate "Spirit" style Renegade oval slot alloy wheel, but the '71-only D-Slot has the lug cenered in the spoke.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

For some reason I thought the 72-75 Renegade wheels all had serials numbers stamped on the inside. My 5 all do.
