Is the ebrake bolt that is under the driveshaft that is on the ebrake drum left or right hand thread and is there a trick to get it off?

I got the right size socket and a breaker bar and nothing I'm worried I'm going to brake the transmission

If your talking about the nut that holds the rear output yolk on it is torqued to 120 ft/lbs when assembled. I have used a large pipe wrench to hold the yolk and a breaker bar with socket on the nut. A impact gun works a lot better though.

I misread your post I will use a pipe wrench to hold it that's a good idea
