I've seen a few threads about coolant overflow bottles and I know there are many to choose from with many mounting options. The one on my 73 is a universal type with a clamp that goes around the bottle neck and mounts it to the flat area on the passenger side of the radiator behind the headlight. I was looking for this same type for a replacement but can't find one with a neck offset to one side to be able to install it. The one I have is about 6"x6"x6". I've seen those aluminum ones that look nice, but most of the ones I see have to hose fittings. Mine only had a fitting at the cap. How would I plumb the second line?

One comes into the bottom of the reservoir from the radiator. The other from the top of the reservoir for overflow.

This is a thread I started that has missing posts. DREDnot posted a picture of a 80's CJ bottle. I got mine today. It only has one hole at the top to insert a hose, Do you push the hose in all the way to the bottom? There isn't a vent on this bottle.

Make a small (maybe 1/8") notch on the bottom of the tube and push it all the way down. It should be vented but maybe the hose just poked in there is sufficient for venting.
