So I picked this top up for next to nothing over the summer now it is time to mount it. My thoughts are set it on mark holes with paint marker pull it off drill holes then set it back on and bolt it down... I know that it wont be that easg because nothing on my jeep ever is... Any tricks you guys might have would be appriciated. I just want to go in preparef forvthe worst. Thanks in asvance (pics are of top on POs jeep.)

Set top on, hold down with c-clamps.
Make sure it sits evenly on the w/s frame.
Hang the doors so they sit level and fit the opening.
Then, mark and drill for the top.
If you don't, I can almost guarantee you won't be happy as to how the doors fit.
Moving top forward or rearward will change the w/s angle, and it look like you have a Meyer top which uses a bracket on the w/s frame that the upper door hinge goes on to.
Mount/drill the bottom door hinge AFTER you're happy with how things fit. They support most of the weight of the doors.
    Buy earplugs...........................mehh

Mine doesn't have a bracket on the windshield. It attaches above the softtop windshield channel with screws into the windshield frame. There are gap fillers that go on each side of the windshield frame

I used wing nuts for mounting mine to the body and I saw where another guy went one step further and used eye bolts with the wing nuts.
