I've been thinking of doing this more lately.. and have been for years. I wanted to get any inputs from you guys who have done it, seen it done, or driven one done. Currently I have the stock style leaf springs rated 2.5" of lift.. and I like where the jeep sits at now. I'm not looking for more lift either. So, I'm wanting to know what lift Wrangler springs should I get so I'll get the same amount of lift ? Also, I plan on doing a shackle reversal. So, I understand there are diffrent ways of doing this and would effect how high the Jeep will sit. Would you say pretty much 2.5" wrangler springs be the same ? I'm wanting a softer ride of course.. but nothing too soft and tippy. I dont want to have to add traction bars.. which is why I want to buy new wrangler springs and not go with used 0" lift springs.

before wranglers ,I went cj7 springs on my 5 ,I have cj7 skyjacker softride 2.5 with fox shocks .the7 springs are really old and flex . they are longer than 5's so they will drop out much more ,I also went shackle revers, and everything went together well ,and they take bumps really good . mine combo is really soft almost to soft for the street , and emergency manuver could end up pretty bad, but so would any jeep . the front end will dive while braking thats the only tradeoff i see for the reversal .

Thanks for the pics.. I was wondering about this, because I'll prob have to get wider spring plates. Do they sell them like them with the shock mounts for wide springs ? But, I guess I probably could make some up pretty easy. How many inches did you move the front axle foward ?

from the stock 5 eyes I moved the 7 perches forward, the new 7 eyes are on the bumper , looks like 2 1/2"ish total ,,,, and then used a 1" axle relocator to push the axle forward on the spring itself . but I was shooting for longer wheelbase ,so I think 1 1/2" would be enough.

Intresting.. I think I'll get some new 2.5" YJ springs and get them under there and go from there.

Thanks ! I looked though it.. and 3.5" springs netted you over 4" ? Did it settle much ? I'm now thinking of going to 2" YJ lift springs.. I really want to say low, and not any higher than what I'm at now.
