I had a helluva time getting the original steering wheel off, but I finally got it! Had no idea that would be so hard! So now I tried to put on my new Grant steering wheel and the hole in the center of the wheel is just slightly too small for the threaded bit that comes up through the center of the column. Do I just grind some of the metal away to make it fit? What have you guys done when replacing the steering wheel? I know the Grant wheels are popular so I'm sure someone has run into this before.

    Thank you,

Don't have any pictures, but I couldn't see any other way around the problem so I decided to just grind the center hole of the steering wheel with a dremel. I enlarged the hole by about 1mm and it fits fine. That part is covered by the horn button when the installation is complete so I didn't think it would matter much. Thanks though.
