    restoring 1967 tuxedo park
    and just noticed transmission is a t86aa original equipement but the shifter arm cover
    says t90c on top .
    can I interchange with the shift top cover of a t-90
    thankx

    If the tranny cover says T90C on it, I think so - I think a T90C is basically T90, just an extra number for something else. Others will be able to say for sure, but I'd say yes.

    i had looked at that site but didn.t read that far down....
    also found out that the top shifter cane was from a jeepster
    thankx for the input guys...

    If you use a true T-90 top shifter assy on a T-86 tranny you will need to make sure that one of the shifter forks is stamped T-86AA. I don't remember which one (first/reverse) or (second/third). I think (second/third) but anyways the T-86AA shift fork will be the widest spread one.
