66 cj5a tux its running finally

    Well i got the tux up and running today finally. New v-6 running ok still need to fine tune timing and get the idle speed set correctly. But no drips. Couldn't believe it but it fired first turn of the key. Exhaust is crap parts of at least two old systems codged together with clamps and a ratty sounding glass pack. So new exhaust is in order. Now its time to work all the bugs out brakes are grabby but all new so just adjustment i would guess. Gonna be fun to have an early 5 running again been about 8 years since i got to drive one. Think i'm in to this jeep for about 1200 bucks so far.

    1200 doesn't sound bad from my end, downright cheap.:)

    Yeah im a cheap skate lol. Sourced this jeep from a pile of used parts some i have had sitting around for ten years. The way i figure it you can never have two many spares laying around.
