Perkins diesel

    i'm preparing to restore a perkins diesel cj5 this fall looking for info on correct year paint and if body should have welded on battery box lid in front of windshield serial no 8310 10609 other tag 227 200

    Not sure about the paint color but the Perkins was only offered for a few years in the early 60s so the welded on battery box lid would be correct for your CJ5.

    227 for paint code would be Jet Line Gray (metallic) and 200 for trim would be split bench blue vinyl.
