I've noticed my trans shift lever appears shorter than what I've seen in pics of other Jeeps.

I've done an internet search but all I find is "shift knobs".

What is the stock length and where can I find a replacement if need be?

    Thanks

I recall there was also a double bend shift stalk back in the V6 era. If the stalk looks like it has factory threads on the knob end, and it has not been welded, then it's probably original. All these stalks taper down toward the knob, till they are about 1/8" larger in diameter than the threads at the top. If there's a big step in diameter from the knob threads to the stalk, it's likely been cut down.

Here's an example of the double bend shifter for a '69 T14
