    Hey Quill,
    Your not going to get good heat for $57 bucks. That's just the price of the plenum (the covering on the outside that directs the air flow). You'll notice that a good heater cannot be bought for under $199.

    When i lived in eastern washington i decided the stock heater wasnt enough in the winter so i added a secondary heater out of an early 80s toyota pickup, used the original for defrost and had the other one just set to blow on your feet. Took some interesting hose routing to get it all to work. Actually worked quite well since all i had at that time was a soft top. Was a cheap upgrade is all i have to say. LOL

    57, what a clean Jeep, beautiful. It looks like you have one piece of ducting I'm assuming goes to the defroster?

    yes. I am in the process of trying to find a suitable vent that I can hookup to the other exit on the heater. Although the air does blow through the defroster, it takes the path of least resistance and blows extremely well through the open outlet. With vents I can control, there will be better control of the direction of heat. Worked well last winter though, but it can be made to work better.
