Love those tail lights. It's too bad that trailers don't have the same size licence plate as a motorcycle. That would avoid the plate getting caught on something.

That would be nice. Thanks guys! If you like it in primer, then you'll love it in paint! I also took the advice of painting the fenders red. It was waaaay too much black.

For haha's today, I hooked it up to the Jalopy and drove it down the road. I couldn't feel it and it was perfectly centered. It also backs up really nice. :D All I have left to do is the wood. :)

I put some rubber fuel line on the leg latch to keep it from making noise while going down the road.

In Florida you can get a motorcycle tag for trailers. Makes things a lot easier.

    Trailer looks great!

I got this Idea from the CJ2A page, and in all honesty, I never thought about it! I made some wheel chocks for the motorcycle's front tire to make them easier to strap down. For some reason, I decided to paint them the same color as the fenders.

One of the guys over at the CJ2A page was nice enough to send me a data tag marked to the Bantam style, so I cut it up and put it on. 50 years from now, somebody will be restoring this and will wonder what the heck kind of trailer this is! R)

I'm going to start telling people that it is a prototype made by Willys to keep up with Bantam or something like that! R)R)

I stamped my serial number in the tag today.

I put my initials, month, year, and the last 4 numbers of my 3A's VIN #.

I mounted my NDT's I got from godevil (thanks!). My dad, who was against using them originally, says they look awesome on it and is glad I didn't listen to him. 8)

The tires really make it look "vintage". Great job on the trailer.

Finished it up for the most part today and took it for a test run with the Jalopy. When I got back I had to hose it off and shammied it, is that a good thing?. I got the deck screwed down. I have one small thing left I'd like to do. I'm going to put on the side some flat stock with tubes on the end so I can drop a pin in and keep them sides from rattling around.

    And my favorite part.

I hit the aluminum with the DA and 400 grit sandpaper, then some clearcoat. That gave it one heck of a nice finish!
