intake manifolds

    does anyone know if the intake manifold from a 225 oddfire will fit on a 231/252 evenfire? If this has already been discussed my apology. I couldn't find any related articles. Thanks:v6:

    It depends on the year of the motor and the intake your trying to use. I know the Kenne Bell Number one will work on the 225s and early 231s.

    Yes - and very hard to find. Some of the Offys will fit, but that would be thier earlier runs will fit both and you would have to verify the model number.

    Do you have specifics in mind? I may be able to find them in my books if you do.

    Thanks for the link Sparky. What i've got is a 252 not sure what year but looks like they were only produced from 1980-84. According to the swap info. the 225 manifold will only work thru 1979. The 252's came with 4 bbl manifolds but the reason I want a 2 bbl is because I have a nice weber 2bbl that I would like to use. If anyone has any ideas I'm all ears.

    A Holley 300-22 will fit both.
